Special awards policy

Awards are a wonderful way to celebrate the achievements of members and recognised volunteers in your team. You can use an award to recognise, great work, outstanding and excellent guiding and long service.

We have a number of national and local awards that celebrate our members.

Further details on national awards can be found on the Girlguiding website or North East England website.

We would love to submit more awards nationally and give out more awards locally so if you’d like to nominate a leader for an award please contact your division commissioner or the county commissioner with your suggestion and we can help advise which awards are suitable.
